I am so glad you are here.
Life can be tricky. Yep, it really can. I am no stranger to life's challenges. I've had my fair share. When my eldest son was 13 he was diagnosed with a super rare and agressive form of bone cancer. We spent a full year in hospital for treatment and during that time I realised that what I wanted to do with my life was to help support people in any way I can. After working in education and teaching for many years, I have since spent an enormous amount of time studying further qualifications in psychology and counselling to help people know they are not alone and there are ways in which we can work through all the things that impact us.. I have worked with some amazing therapists in my own life journey who have all helped me so profoundly in managing the adversity I have faced.
What I firmly believe is that we should not have to face and battle things that happen alone. You can't possibly have all the answers and there is no way any one of us can navigate the complexities of life without support. In my role, I offer you a safe space to explore your thoughts, feelings, experiences and challenges. My approach is client centered, meaning I tailor our sessions to meet your unique needs. There is no one size fits all in how I work. I take time to really understand what is needed to help you build the tools you need to thrive and create a life that you love living. I am trained and qualified in a whole heap of different modalities and approaches, from Meditation, CBT, EFT, Kinesiology to Yoga Therapy which means that I can really help you to find what really works for you - whether its to address and clear the impact trauma has had on your life, build confidence, work on relationship difficulties. I have got you.
And just so you know a bit about what I like to do outside of my role here - I love Yoga, reading, long walks, being outside, a good cup of coffee and tea, I am a mad stationary enthusiast, have a house full of plants and a sheepadoodle puppy.
